Who are the LUnatics?
The LUnatics are one the most passionate and dedicated student fan bases in all NCAA Athletics. We provide an electric atmosphere at all Liberty D1 athletic events along with several traditions and core memories that allow college students to enjoy their experience while at Liberty. The LUnatics are full of Champions for Christ rallying with one another to see the Flames win. We promote sportsmanship, while also giving our Flames an advantage by keeping energy high and providing an intimidating atmosphere to any opponent.
Purpose of the LUnatics
The LUnatics exist to provide students with many enjoyable moments that can boost their college experience. We exist to serve as the bridge between the student body and the D1 Student Athletes. We believe that by making connections we can make experiences more enjoyable by adding Fuel to the Flames.

Cheer Like a Champion
"Cheer Like A Champion" is our initiative to share the love of Christ while passionately supporting our Flames. Our founder Jerry Falwell Sr. always said, "If it's Christian it should be better." That is the drive of this initiative. We are called to be Champions For Christ in every facet of life. So instead of putting down the other team, let's focus our attention towards our team and fuel the Flames. That is cheering like a Champion.

How do I become a LUnatic Leader?
Follow @Lunaticsliberty on Instagram and click the link in our profile. There will be an application you can fill out. Once completed you will hear from a LUnatic Leader to schedule an interview.
Are all students LUnatics?
Yes! All Liberty students are LUnatics, and there are two membership tiers that are offered to further enhance the experience for the most devoted LUnatics. Both Membership Tiers are available to all residential and online students currently attending Liberty University.
Mission: Our mission is to be the most passionate, energetic, and disruptive student section in the country while showing the love of Christ by serving in the Lynchburg Community.
Vision: This platform is to serve as the bridge between our NCAA Athletes and the student body as a whole. We want to recognize the amazing talent the student athletes have here on the mountain while also displaying the student’s personalities and love for the Flames.
