3-YEAR LOYALTY SEATING PLAN
NEXT FULL RESEAT 2025
To fairly distribute tickets at Williams Stadium and Liberty Arena, beginning with the 2025 Football, and 2025-26 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons, Liberty Athletics and the Flames Club assign seats based on a loyalty seating plan.
This system allows members to select their seats every three-years based on their Annual Fund Membership Level and lifetime earned Loyalty Points. Traditionally, this seating process has taken place every year, but will now occur on a rolling three year basis. This benefit recognizes the loyalty of Flames Club members. Non-member season tickets will be seated as they have traditionally, on a year-to-year basis, based on order date and time.
There are three guiding principles for the Loyalty Seating Plan:
Loyalty – The reseating allows current and long time members to retain one of their greatest benefits from year to year, preferred seats. This is based on both current giving and historical giving. It recognizes our long time fans, but also allows those who may be new to Flames Nation an opportunity to join in the process.
Choice – Seat selection and rank remain in the control of you, our fans. With a growing fan base, our fans can select their own seats, using their preferences for seat type and location.
Recognition – As we rise to build a nationally prominent program, the system allows on an occasional basis for those who increase their giving in support of our student-athletes the chance to earn privileges at their discretion. This also recognizes the effort of Flames Club members to go above and beyond their fellow fans in supporting our teams.


WHEN:
The Loyalty Seating Plan begins with seat selection for the 2025 football season. Seats selected by eligible members can be held for three seasons – 2025, 2026, and 2027, provided each member maintains the same level of Flames Club membership and season tickets each year, renewing by the respective deadlines.
Moving forward, every three years, the seating in Williams Stadium and Liberty Arena will go through a “reseat year” in which the seat selection process will take place again.
* Flames Club membership must be renewed (pledged, payment plan, or paid in full) by the Season Ticket Priority Deadline to be a part of the Priority Seat Selection Process/retain seats each year.
Why transition away from reseating every year?
Reducing the frequency of reseating honors the Loyalty of our fans. One of the most frequent requests to the Flames Club is “why can’t I keep my seats each year.” Now, fans are able to keep their seats for up-to a three year period, after which they may select again based on their Annual Fund Membership and Loyalty Points.
With record growth of Flames Nation: increasing Flames Club members and season ticket holders, this timely process currently pushes further and further near the start of the season, preventing new fans from knowing which seats are available for purchase.
Every three years, as the entire stadium is reseated, those who have recently joined Flames Nation, increased their support, or desire a change of seat type will have a fresh chance to select new seats.
The process is guided by an effort to honor current giving as well as historical loyalty. Each family or business member has the ability to select their seats, on a level playing field with all other fans.
When will seating occur?
Seat selection takes place in March and April for Football and August for Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball.
How will the process work?
An example of the seat selection process in football (dates are tentative):
Nov. 6, 2024 - Football Renewals on Sale at 11 am
Jan. 3, 2025 - Football Season Tickets on sale to new ticket holders
March 1, 2025 - 2025 Football Season Ticket Priority Deadline - Deadline for all existing members and season ticket holders to renew their membership and purchase season tickets. Deadline for new season ticket holders to be added into the seat improvement and selection period.
March 17, 2025 - Seat improvement period and seat selection beings. Returning and new season ticket holders who ordered by March 1, 2025 will receive an assigned time slot to select seats, from the available seating, provided they meet qualifying criteria. Seat selection will take place from March 17-April 3 by Flames Club membership level, loyalty points, and then order date and time.
April 4, 2025 - Season ticket sales reopen post seat selection
When will the next reseating occur?
Following the seat selection of 2025, those seats will remain for the 2026 season, and 2027 provided the Flames Club Member maintains their giving level and renews season tickets. With the next full reseating occurring in the spring of 2028 for the 2028, 2029, and 2030 season.
How is the order of seats determined?
The process for how Flames Club members select seats will not change. First, members who renew their season tickets before the priority deadline are grouped according to the Annual Fund membership level, beginning with Scholarship, then Founders, and so forth. Within each level, members are placed in a descending order by how many Loyalty Points they have earned in their support of our student-athletes. Fans can review their Loyalty Point and annual fund rank via their online account.
Non-Flames Club member season ticket holders are ranked based on order date and time.
What if I don’t like my seats?
Each year, a limited number of seats will become available by those who transition out of season tickets, or fail to meet the membership renewal or season ticket order deadline. Those seats will become available for an annual Improvement Period. Any member who wants to improve their seats, may select from available seats provided they meet the qualifying criteria.
Due to limited availability, Suites, Cabanas, and Club seats will have waiting lists prioritized by membership level and loyalty points. The Flames Club will contact qualifying members when available. For information on these seating areas please contact the Flames Club.
How do I improve my rank?
Rank is determined by Annual Fund Membership Level and the number of Loyalty Points earned by members. Generally, 1 Loyalty Point is earned for each $100 given to the Annual Fund or a sports’ Excellence Fund, and 2 Points earned for each $100 gift to Legacy Gift. Points may also be earned by referring friends to join the Flames Club.
The best way to improve your rank is to increase your membership level. If you want to improve your ranking within your level, you can explore options for increasing your loyalty points.
I am a new Flames Club member- when can I select my seats?
For 2025, all Flames Fans will be able to select their ST location within priority order. New members who join in a non reseating year (2026 & 2027) will be sold a general season ticket with no seat location at the time of purchase and added to the seat improvement and selection process to select based on priority order and rank. Members will then select at their assigned time slot.
How does this impact faculty and staff discounts?
Faculty and staff have the same ability as all members of the Flames community to select seats in the Loyalty Seating Process. While it fluctuates from year-to-year there is a discount on season tickets for those who serve as full time employees.
Will there be a different process for basketball?
No, the same reseating process will occur every three years, coinciding with football, with a selection process and improvement period during the summer.
Will there be a different process for baseball?
Yes. At this time the Loyalty Seating Plan will only impact Williams Stadium and Liberty Arena.
Will all season ticket holders be able to keep their seats each year?
In order to retain seats from one year to the next, each member must maintain their level of giving from the year prior for the current year, and renew their season tickets by the priority/renewal deadline. Specific deadlines will be announced on a yearly basis. Those who are not Flames Club members will be reseated every year based upon order date and time after Flames Club member select seats. Season ticket holders are invited to join the Flames Club to retain their seats from year to year through the Loyalty Seating Process.
How does this impact parking?
Construction around Williams Stadium and Liberty Arena can change parking arrangements quickly. Parking will still be assigned and selected on a yearly basis as part of the selection process.
